Wow, all I can say is what a week to follow up the Massachusetts democrat election debacle from last week. It truly is as if President Obama and his withering party are running for cover yet have no place to currently hide.

After last week where a very blue state turned into a now red/blue state just in the period of a 12 hour election cycle, I would have thought some lessons from the beltway elite were learned. NO!

The knee jerk, and now subsequent consistent reaction, is “The voters did not hear our message, we did not tell enough of our plans for the government to fix the private market”.

In fact, immediately following the Scott Brown election Obama, knowing he lost while hinging the Massachusetts election entirely regarding health care, decided to turn the executive power’s full force ambition on the re-regulating and total dismantling of the American Banking System.

So hang in with me here but in brief, ARE THEY NUTS? In what nation does the government control the banking institutions while at the same time allowing the citizens of that nation the freedoms and liberty the current citizens of the United States currently enjoy?

Let’s just take a second to look at the government agency success stories:

Uh yeah sorry for the lack of text following that last declaration but yes, there really are none. However, the following is a look at just of few of the government agencies daily ending in financial and catastrophic disaster: Education, no; Fannie Mae, no; Freddie Mac, no; Veteran’s benefits, no not really; Energy, no; Environment, nope; War on Terror, non existence; and so on and so forth.

And now, this week was capped off with President Obama’s bombastic and antagonistic State of the Union Address. With recent terrorist’s attacks and an ongoing war in Afghanistan, Obama only mentioned the word “war” one time in his speech. With the obvious unpopularity of the current health care issues, he only mentioned those words ten times.

Basically, it looks as though Obama and his excellent genius communication skills are falling flat with the American public, as well as his own Democratic Party; case in point: Obama had a super majority and still can’t persuade his own lawmakers to fall lock step and get on the same page.

Folks, I look forward to next week to see how much farther our nation and region can fall in the next seven days. Hopefully I am wrong and in Election 2010, our country will be returned back to YOU.
